コーヒー means coffee. Both long vowels are shown with the long-vowel mark ー.
ベッド means bed. The small ッ indicates the doubled consonant sound before ド.
コンピューター means computer. It uses the small ュ in ピュー and long-vowel marks after ュ and タ.
キャベツ means cabbage. The small ャ combines with キ to form the single contracted sound キャ.
サンドイッチ means sandwich. Its final part uses the small ッ before チ to represent the consonant transition in the loanword.

Adding dakuten to カ changes its unvoiced k sound to the voiced g sound, producing ガ.
Handakuten changes the h sound of ハ to a p sound, producing パ. Dakuten would instead produce バ.
パーティー is the standard spelling. The small ィ combines with テ to approximate the foreign sound ti.
フィ combines フ with a small ィ to approximate “fi.” In contrast, full-sized フイ is normally read as two morae.
スーパー has four morae: ス・ー・パ・ー. Each long-vowel mark adds one mora to the word's rhythm.
