One of the most effective ways to make a Power Point presentation more dynamic and interesting is by adding audios. This could be background music, a sound effect, or even a voiceover. In this article, we'll show you how to insert and format audio in your presentation.

Inserting audio

To insert an audio, follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Insert" tab in the top menu.
  2. Click "Audio" in the "Media" section.
  3. Select "Audio from File" to insert an audio file saved on your computer or "Online Audio" to insert an audio directly from the internet.
  4. Select the desired audio file or paste the online audio link.

Done! Audio has been added to your presentation. Now, let's see how to format it.

Formatting an audio

There are several formatting options for audio in Power Point. Here are some of the most common ones:

  • Autoplay: If you want the audio to start playing automatically when the presentation starts, select the "Autoplay" option in the audio settings.
  • Repeat: If you want the audio to be repeated several times, select the "Loop until stopped" option in the audio settings.
  • Volume: You can adjust the audio volume in the audio settings or by right-clicking the audio and selecting "Format Audio".
  • Duration: If you only want the audio to last for a certain amount of time, right-click on the audio and select "Format Audio". Then select the "Audio Options" tab and set the desired duration.

With these formatting options, you can customize your audio to suit your presentation.
