After clicking "New", the screen will be a little gray. This indicates that the Snipping Tool is ready to capture. Now, you can draw the area you want to capture whether you chose rectangular or free-form capture. If you chose window or full screen capture, the capture will be taken automatically.

Step 4: Editing the capture

After capturing, the captured image will open in the Snipping Tool. Here, you can make some basic edits to the image. For example, you can use the pen to draw on the image, use the highlighter to highlight areas of the image, or use the eraser to erase anything you've drawn or highlighted. Step 5: Saving the capture

If you want to send the captured image via email, you can do so directly from the Snipping Tool. To do this, click the "File" button and then "Send by email". This will open your default email program with the captured image attached.
