Hardware is the physical part of the computer, that is, the components that we can touch and see. There are different types of Hardware, which are responsible for different functions in the computer. The main hardware components are:

• Processor: is the brain of the computer, responsible for processing all information and running programs;
• Motherboard: it is the main board of the computer, which connects all components and allows communication between them;
• RAM memory: is the computer's temporary memory, where programs are stored while they are running;
• Hard disk: is the component responsible for storing all files and programs on the computer;
• Video card: is the card responsible for generating the images that appear on the computer screen;
• Power supply: is responsible for providing power to all computer components.

In addition to these main components, there are also peripherals, which are external devices that connect to the computer to perform different functions. Some examples of peripherals are:

• Mouse: is the device used to move the cursor on the screen and perform actions;
• Keyboard: is the device used to type texts and commands on the computer;
• Printer: is the device used to print documents;
• Scanner: is the device used to digitize documents and images;
• Sound speakers: are the devices used to play audio on the computer;
• Webcam: is the device used to capture images and videos in real time.

It is important to remember that for the peripherals to work correctly, it is necessary to install the corresponding drivers on the computer. Drivers are programs that allow communication between the peripheral and the computer's operating system.

In summary, Hardware and peripherals are essential components for the functioning of the computer. It's important to know each of these components and know how to use them correctly to ensure good computer performance.
