Introduction

Once the dough is smooth, knead it on a smooth, floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic. Knead the dough by folding it over itself and pressing it down with the palm of your hand. This process is very important to activate the gluten in the flour, which will give the bread its structure.

Place the dough in a large bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size. This is the fermentation process, which is essential for bread to rise and become fluffy.

After the dough doubles in size, knead it again for another 5 minutes to remove the air. Then divide the dough into two equal parts and model each of them in a shape of bread. Place the doughs in two greased and floured loaf pans and let them rest for another 30 minutes, or until they double in size again.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the buns for about 30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and make a hollow sound when tapped lightly on the underside. Let the buns cool completely before slicing.
