How to Control Depth of Field?

Subject Distance

Lens Focal Length
The focal length of the lens (measured in millimeters) also plays a role in depth of field. Short focal length lenses (like an 18mm lens) have a greater depth of field than long focal length lenses (like a 200mm lens).
