The parking assistance system is a technology that has been increasingly used in modern vehicles, especially in luxury models. This system aims to assist the driver during parking maneuvers, making the process easier and safer.

Basically, the parking assistance system is composed of sensors, cameras and image processing software. Sensors are installed at the front and rear of the vehicle and are responsible for detecting objects around the car. Cameras are installed at the rear and front of the vehicle and provide real-time images to the driver.

When the driver activates the parking assist system, the sensors begin to detect objects around the car. Based on this information, the image processing software calculates the distance between the vehicle and the objects, as well as the vehicle's speed. With this data, the software is able to determine the ideal trajectory for the vehicle during the parking maneuver.

In addition, the parking assist system can also provide visual and audible guidance to the driver. For example, if the vehicle is very close to an object, the system can emit an audible alert for the driver to stop the car. Likewise, the system can provide visual guidance on the vehicle's dashboard screen, showing the ideal trajectory for the parking manoeuvre.

It is important to note that the parking assist system is not capable of parking the vehicle by itself. It just helps the driver during the maneuver, making the process easier and safer. Therefore, it is essential that the driver is attentive throughout the parking process and follows the guidelines provided by the system.
