1.6. Intermediate Spanish Vocabulary: Health Vocabulary

In any language, health-related vocabulary is fundamental, and Spanish is no different. Whether it's an emergency situation, a doctor's appointment, or simply describing how you feel, knowing health vocabulary in Spanish can be extremely helpful.

Health Professionals

First of all, it is important to know the names of health professionals. The general term for doctor in Spanish is 'doctor'. However, there are also specific terms for different types of doctors, such as 'cardiologist' (cardiologist), 'dermatologist' (dermatologist) and 'pediatrician' (pediatrician).
