Chapter 6.16 of our Occupational Safety course is dedicated to Individual and Collective Protection Equipment, known as EPIs and EPCs. This equipment is essential to ensure the safety and health of workers in different work environments, minimizing the risk of accidents and occupational diseases.

In addition, safety instructions must be regularly updated and revised to ensure they are always in line with best work safety practices.

Operating procedures, in turn, are a set of sequential steps that must be followed by workers to perform a specific task. They are essential to guarantee work safety, as they help to prevent errors and accidents that can occur when a task is performed improperly.

To ensure the effectiveness of PPE and EPCs, it is crucial that workers are properly trained on how to use them correctly. This includes knowing when and how to put on and take off equipment, how to keep it in good working order, and how to identify and report any problems or defects.

In short, PPE and CPE, along with safety instructions and operating procedures, are essential components of any workplace safety program. They help protect workers' health and safety, prevent accidents and occupational illnesses, and create a safer, healthier work environment for all.
