Chapter 15: How to Choose and Install Ports

c. New Door Installation

Then, install the new port. Place the door in the opening and use shims to ensure the door is level and plumb. Then secure the door to the opening with nails or screws.

d. Door Frame Installation

Finally, install the door frame. Cut the door frame to fit the door opening and secure it with nails or screws. Then apply caulking around the door frame to seal any gaps.
