Chocolate Bread Recipe

The art of making bread is one of the oldest culinary traditions, and over time, recipe variations only increase. One such delicious variation is chocolate bread. Want to learn how to do it? Here's a chocolate bread recipe that's perfect for a special breakfast or afternoon snack.

Ingredients:

  • 500g wheat flour
  • 100g of sugar
  • 10g of salt
  • 10g dry biological yeast
  • 60g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 240ml of milk
  • 200g chopped semisweet chocolate

Method of preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the wheat flour, sugar, salt and dry yeast.
  2. Add the butter, eggs and milk to the flour mixture. Use your hands or a stand mixer to mix the ingredients well until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Add the chopped chocolate to the dough and continue kneading until the chocolate is well incorporated.
  5. Place the dough in a large bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
  6. Once the dough has doubled in size, knead it again to remove the air. Then divide the dough into two equal parts and shape each into a loaf.
  7. Place the loaves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover again with the damp cloth and let rest for another 30 minutes, or until the loaves have doubled in size.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC. Bake the loaves for about 30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and make a hollow sound when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Allow the loaves to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

This recipe for chocolate bread is delicious and perfect for any occasion. The bread is soft and tasty, with pieces of melted chocolate all over it. It's the perfect snack to go with coffee or tea. Try making it at home and surprise your family and friends!

Tips:
