Chapter 49: How to use Maps in Windows 11
The Maps app in Windows 11 is a very useful tool that allows users to navigate and explore the world without leaving home. This chapter will guide you on how to efficiently use the Maps app in Windows 11.
1. Opening the Maps app

5. Viewing location information
When you click on a location on the map, a pop-up window appears with information about that location, such as the address, opening hours (if it is a business), user reviews, and photos. If the location is a point of interest, such as a monument or museum, the pop-up window may also include a brief description of the location.
6. Saving locations
If you want to save a location for future reference, click the star icon in the location pop-up window. The location will be saved to your "Saved Places" list, which you can access by clicking the star icon in the search bar.
7. Using Street View mode
The Maps app in Windows 11 also has a Street View feature, which allows you to explore an area as if you were walking down the street. To use Street View, click the stick figure icon in the bottom right corner of the map and drag it to the location you want to explore. The map will switch to Street View mode and you can navigate the streets using the on-screen arrows or clicking and dragging the image.
