How to Add and Edit Images in Canva

Canva is an online graphic design tool that lets you create professional-quality designs with no prior graphic design experience required. One of Canva's most useful features is the ability to add and edit images. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do that.

Adding Images

Adding images to your design in Canva is a very simple process. Here are the steps:

1. Go to Canva's home page and select the type of design you want to create.
2. On the left toolbar, click "Elements".
3. Click "Images" and you will be presented with a variety of image options to choose from. You can choose between free and paid images.
4. To add an image to your design, simply click on the image and it will automatically be added to your design.

Editing Images

3. To change the size of the image, click and drag the corners of the image. To move the image, click and drag the image to the desired position.
4. To crop the image, click the scissors icon on the image editing toolbar. Then adjust the crop area by clicking and dragging the corners of the crop box.
5. To adjust the transparency of the image, click the slider icon on the image editing toolbar. Then adjust the transparency slider to the desired level.
6. To add effects to the image, click the magic wand icon on the image editing toolbar. Then choose the desired effect.
