La Familia: Vocabulary and Expressions

Let's start by learning some basic vocabulary related to family. Here are some key terms:

  • La familia - The family
  • El padre - Father
  • La madre - Mother
  • El hermano - Brother
  • La hermana - Sister
  • El hijo - Son
  • La hija - Daughter
  • El abuelo - Grandfather
  • La abuela - Grandmother
  • El tío - Uncle
  • La tía - Aunt
  • El primo - Cousin (male)
  • La prima - Cousin (female)
  • El sobrino - Nephew

  • Nuestro/a/os/as - Our

Examples:
