The tactics covered are: fork, pin, skewer, deflection, discovered attack, discovered check, double check, clearance, interference, and windmill. Some tips are provided to help better recognize basic conditions that make tactical combinations more likely. As a close, a few chess puzzles are presented to show how chess tactics can work in combination with each other.
